Room 6 has been busy getting to know each other these past few weeks. Together we made a friendship fruit salad that helped us to think of what we would like our friends to be like.
We worked in groups to make a friendship fruit salad. Each fruit that went into the fruit salad helps to remind us of the different things that make Room 6 a great class to be a part of.
We put in tins of fruit salad to start which reminds us we are all different and together we can create something wonderful.
We put in blueberries, pineapple and grapes. These represented kind, sharing and caring class members.
Some tiny marshmallows and chocolate bits went in to remind us we are helpful and good listeners.
There were some rotten bananas that we could have added to the fruit salad but they were very yucky. The rotten bananas were yucky words and actions that we want to keep out of our classroom.
We mixed up all the good fruit and enjoyed eating our friendship fruit salad together.
Then we got to eat it Yummy!
