 Welcome back to Term 4. This term we will be thinking about healthy eating and foods that are good for us. We will also be weighing using standard and non standard units. We started off this week by using the balancing scales and seeing all the different things we could make balance. It was great fun and very interesting to see how heavy or light some things were. We looked at different foods and talked about healthy or not we thought they were. Next we sorted the foods and looked at the food pyramid to 
see which foods we should eat a lot of to keep us healthy.

What an interesting topic because healthy food is very important.I wonder if any of you are growing your own vegetables and fruit at home?I like the photos-you all look such fine students.From Myles' Nana and Poppa in Morrinsville.
