Sea week

This week we have all taken part in Sea Week ( Look beneath the surface). On Monday we went down to the beach to look at what the tide had washed in. We worked in small groups and used magnifying glasses to look closely at the sea shore.

On Tuesday we sketched some shells, drift wood, feathers and stones that some children brought into school. 

We looked closely and tried to add the detail we could see. We used shading to make them come alive.
