Grandparents afternoon

Yesterday all the juniors had grandparents afternoon. We started off the afternoon in the hall. Mrs Buckley spoke to the grandparents and then all  the juniors sang some songs to the grandparents/'grandfriends'. Some people shared their special writing about our grandparents. After we took our grandparents/'grandfriends' to our class for an afternoon of sharing. We shared our grab bags and amazing work on the walls of the classroom.

Lots of people had brought along treasures to share with us and we all listened as they each stood up and spoke. What a lot of interesting stories there were. A big thank you to everyone who came along we all had a great afternoon and especially enjoyed the yummy afternoon tea!
