Clay fruit baskets

We all had so much fun rolling, pressing, pushing and moulding clay into different shapes to create our fruit bowls and baskets. First we made a ball and then we used our thumbs and fingers to gently press the edges out. Next we used smaller pieces of clay to make lots of different fruits. We left them to dry for a week and then we painted them. They look fantastic and are all so different.
