Fun with Measurement

We have been using non standard units to measure the length and width of different things. We drew around Roko and Aubrey and then estimated how many cubes long they were. Then we used cubes to measure their length. We thought it was quicker to count in groups of tens. 

Measuring the length 

 Next we estimated how wide they were and measured them with cubes. Aubrey was wider and longer than Roko. After we drew around our hands and feet and used cubes to measure the length and width of them.
