On Thursday Jane from KIDS - Kids Involved inDog Safety - came to talk to us about how to be safe around dogs. She brought along Amber who sat beautifully in the classroom and let some of us practice stroking her. We had to ask before we touched her and Jane showed us how she liked to be stroked.
Just remember:
If a dog has a snack -keep well back!
A dogs not a toy -don't tease and annoy!
Quiet and slow is the way to go!
Don't run and shout it freaks us out !

I thought Amber the dog was very cute because she was fluffy and I also got to learn some knew messages about being safe around dogs!!!!
