Measurement

This we week we have started work on measurement. We have been using non standard units to measure the length and width of different things. We drew around Ella and then estimated how many cubes long she was. Then we used cubes to measure her length. We thought it was best to count in groups of tens and she measured 75 cubes long.

Next we estimated how wide she was and how long her arms were. After we drew around our hands and feet and used cubes to measure the length and width of them.
