3D shapes

This Term we have been finding out about 2D and 3D shapes. We have investigated different shapes and the number of sides, corners, points, faces etc. This week we all had lots of fun making different 3D shapes using marshmallows and cocktail sticks. take a look at the cubes, cuboids, pyramids, and triangular prisms we made.

Sorting shapes by their properties. Cubes and cuboids have the same number of sides. Spheres and cylinders roll and have curved faces. Cones and pyramids have points. Great sorting Room 6.
