Grandparents afternoon

Today all the juniors had grandparents afternoon. We started off the afternoon in the hall. Mrs Buckley spoke to the grandparents and then all  the juniors sang some songs to the grandparents/'grandfriends'. After singing we took our grandparents/'grandfriends' to our class for an afternoon of sharing. We shared our grab bags and special writing about our grandparents. Lots of people had brought along treasures to share with us and we all listened as they each stood up and spoke. What a lot of interesting stories there were. A big thank you to everyone who came along we all had a great afternoon and especially enjoyed the yummy afternoon tea!

Today as part of Grandparents day Amelie's Grandad drove

his 1927 Austin vintage car to school He let us all have a go

at sitting in it. Gosh what a special old car.
